OFFSET PRINTING
Offset Printing is considered as the most cost effective and high quality printing format of all time. Offset printing can be used when Perfect Color Matching is required (Pantone Matching System). However the Origination Cost or the Raw Cost to make the plates and the time required to get the first print could be quite high.

DIGITAL PRINTING
Digital printing helps in quick and inexpensive solutions. It is the best and efficient solution recommended where high end results can be achieved directly without any of the processes normally required for offset printing. However, it also has some limitations such as printing on all grammages and paper quality / types may not be possible.

All printing is done in-house. A variety of machines, capable of handling both small and large jobs, are at our disposal to meet customer needs. Our machine capability includes the following:

• CD-102/5 colors (Heidelberg) + online coating water base
• SM-102/5 colors size: 100x70 (Heidelberg)
• SM-102/2 colors size: 100x70 (Heidelberg)
• PM-52/4 colors size: 50x35 (Heidelberg)
• SM-102/1 colors size: 50x70 (Heidelberg)

CTP DEPARTMENT

CTP is a type of printing prepress process in which a digital image is transmitted directly from a computer to a plate used on a press. It eliminates the need for producing film (or negatives), stripping and shooting plates. Not only does the technology reduce costs and increases productivity, proponents of CTP claim it offers better consistency and higher quality because it eliminates the risk of human error, because the file is transmitted digitally to the plate material.

Computer-to-plate technology, in contrast, produces plates without the interim step of making films. Digital artwork files, after appropriate preparation, are sent directly to a digital platesetter, which produces plates directly from the digital file. No films required.

Advantages of CTP:
• The quality improvement is significant, especially when you’re printing faces, food items, or other high quality graphics.
• The most obvious benefit of CTP technology is faster turn-around times. Eliminating the need to produce films can reduce the time needed to make plates from one week to a few days-or, in extreme cases, to as little as an hour.
• Customers who make frequent changes to package graphics and thus frequently require new plates.

Computer-to-plate systems are also supposed to reduce costs, although results can be mixed. They eliminate expenditures on consumables such as films and the chemicals required to produce them. They also require much greater automation of the printing workflow, thus reducing labor costs and human error.

FINISHING SERVICES

A development programme In the production plant enables staff to broaden their skills base by working on various machines and equipment. The competencies of staff, have been audited as part of a process to develop a “competency based” training programme and to develop a grading system. Increasingly, staff on the production line make collective decisions on timeframes, satisfying quality specifications, ordering production flow, etc. In this way wastage is minimized, quality enhanced and the work experience made fulfilling.

LASER CUTTING

Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to cut materials, and is typically used for industrial manufacturing applications, but is also starting to be used by schools, small businesses, and hobbyists. Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser, by computer, at the material to be cut.

The precision levels and edge quality achieved with laser cutting machines are better than traditional cutting methods, as the laser beam will not wear during the laser cutting process. Laser cutting technology also enables us to cut complex shapes without the need for tooling and at a similar or faster speed than other cutting methods.

Benefits Laser Cutting:
• Clean cut edges without burr or dust formation.
• Cutting of extremely fine contours and practically radius-free inner edges.
• Cutting of various material thicknesses and combinations in one operation.
• No material deformation due to contactless material processing.
• High level of precision and positional accuracy of the cut edges due to automatic recording.
• Maximum utilization of circuit boards because no space has to be kept free for cutting channels.

Laser cutting also allows us to cut small diameter holes with complex detail and good edge quality in either sheet, plate, tube or box section.

DIGITAL PRINTING

Digital printing refers to methods of printing from a digital-based image directly to a variety of media. It usually refers to professional printing where small-run jobs from desktop publishing and other digital sources are printed using large-format and/or highvolume laser or inkjet printers.
